A
recognized expert in the field of
environmental chemistry, environmental
management, and the characterization
of hazardous waste on remediation
sites, Dr. Terry Peterson has consulted
on a variety of projects including
characterization of chemical contaminants
in soil, multi-disciplinary technical
proposal generation, emergency petroleum
spill response, transportation and
disposal of petroleum contaminated
soils, technical plans and proposal
development.
Over the years, Dr. Peterson has made
major contributions in the fields
of pigment development; is the inventor
(international patent holder) of the
cubic form of highly colored cadmium
sulfo-selenide pigments; and was involved
in the development of numerous products
produced by the Gillette Safety Razor
Company and Millipore Corporation.
In addition, Terry's extensive career
with the U.S. Armed Forces included
eight years in the Navy as a Radioman,
two years with the Air Force, and
22 years as a Commissioned Officer
in the Army Medical Service Corp.,
where he was promoted to the rank
of Colonel, and is a highly decorated
military officer including the Defense
Superior Service Medal and the Legion
of Merit (from President Clinton). |
